Shipping Policy

Last Updated: July 14, 2026

This Shipping Policy explains how Medent LLC handles order processing, lead times, shipping charges, delivery estimates, freight shipments, international shipping, risk of loss, damage reporting, and delivery issues.

1. Processing Time
Standard order processing is typically 5-10 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Processing time is not the same as shipping transit time.

2. Special Order and Direct Ship Lead Times
Items labeled or treated as special order, made-to-order, configured, calibrated, manufacturer-direct, direct ship, backordered, freight, or custom may require longer lead times. Lead times may commonly range from 2-6 weeks or more depending on supplier availability, manufacturing, inspection, testing, configuration, freight scheduling, and import/export requirements.

3. Delivery Estimates
Delivery dates, transit times, and lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing by Medent LLC. Medent LLC is not responsible for supplier delays, carrier delays, customs delays, weather delays, address issues, failed delivery attempts, freight scheduling issues, force majeure events, or other delays outside our control.

4. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges may be calculated at checkout, included in a quote, billed separately, or adjusted after order review based on product weight, dimensions, destination, carrier service, freight requirements, insurance, packaging, handling, or special delivery needs.

Orders below $100.00 USD are subject to a $50.00 USD shipping charge, unless a different shipping charge is quoted or confirmed in writing by Medent LLC.

Standard shipping rates, online shipping charges, promotional shipping offers, or included shipping may exclude Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, remote areas, limited-access locations, and other destinations requiring special carrier service unless expressly confirmed in writing by Medent LLC.

Medent LLC does not ship to P.O. Boxes. Customers must provide a complete physical street address suitable for carrier or freight delivery.

Additional charges may apply for lift-gate service, residential delivery, inside delivery, appointment delivery, limited-access delivery, re-delivery, address correction, storage, detention, oversized handling, dangerous goods handling, temperature control, or other carrier accessorial services.

5. Signature Requirement
Orders over $500.00 USD, high-value products, restricted products, professional-use equipment, or selected shipments may require signature at delivery or other delivery controls. The customer is responsible for ensuring that an authorized person is available to receive the shipment.

6. Freight and LTL Shipments
Large, heavy, bulky, fragile, palletized, or equipment-based orders may ship by freight or LTL carrier. Unless expressly quoted and paid for, freight delivery is typically curbside, dock, or truck-level delivery only.

Inside delivery, room placement, stair carry, unpacking, debris removal, installation, assembly, setup, calibration, and training are not included unless confirmed in writing by Medent LLC.

7. Freight Inspection Requirements
Customers must inspect freight shipments before signing the delivery receipt. If there is visible damage, shortage, or mishandling, the customer must note the issue clearly on the delivery receipt, take photos, keep all packaging, and contact Medent LLC within 48 hours of delivery.

Signing a delivery receipt without noting visible damage may limit or prevent carrier claim recovery.

8. Standard Parcel Damage or Shortage Claims
For parcel shipments, damage, shortage, wrong item, visible mishandling, or delivery discrepancy must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Customers must keep all boxes, labels, inserts, packaging, and protective material until the claim is resolved.

9. International Shipping
International shipping may be available subject to carrier coverage, product restrictions, supplier rules, export controls, customs requirements, and destination-country laws. International customers are responsible for import eligibility, customs clearance, duties, VAT, taxes, brokerage fees, permits, product approvals, and compliance with local laws.

10. Importer of Record
For international shipments, the customer is the importer of record unless otherwise agreed in writing. Medent LLC is not responsible for customs holds, seizures, rejected imports, licensing issues, missing permits, regulatory restrictions, or destination-country delays.

11. Risk of Los

Unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing, title and risk of loss pass to the customer when the shipment is tendered to the carrier. Customers may request additional shipping insurance before shipment, subject to availability and additional cost.

12. Refused, Undeliverable, or Failed Deliveries
If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, returned to sender, or undeliverable because of incorrect information, unavailable recipient, access restrictions, import issues, customer refusal, or a prohibited delivery address such as a P.O. Box, the customer may be responsible for outbound shipping, return shipping, carrier fees, storage fees, re-delivery fees, restocking fees, and handling costs.

13. Address Changes and Re-Routing
Address changes after order processing has begun may be unavailable. If a carrier re-route is possible, the customer is responsible for re-routing fees, address correction charges, delays, and related costs.

14. Tracking
Tracking information will be provided when available. Some freight, supplier-direct, international, special-order, or manufacturer-direct shipments may have limited tracking visibility.

15. Shipping Support
